Who We Are
International Youth Reformation organization (IYOREF) is a registered not- for- profit, non-governmental organization (NGO) that works locally and globally to promote Peacebuilding through youth empowerment on various programs that brings self-reliance in education, health, sports and volunteering.
As most individuals are beginning to realize the menace of community filled with uncultured youth, it is no gain underscoring the degeneration of this set despite all efforts from their wards, tutors and the government alike. We initiate, enlighten groups, communities, private and general public through partnership.
There are so many youth out there with pools of untapped talents due to societal problem ranging from Poverty, HIV & AIDS, Right Abuse, Sexual Abuse, Poor Governance, Illiteracy, and Ethnocentrism etc. Research reveals that youth constitute the largest percentage of the world population. Lots are surviving through mendicant means and lured into several anti-social acts like thuggery through political godfathers, bunkering, and illegal soldering which eventually ends them up in police cells across the nation.

For a very long time in the history of Nigeria, Ekiti state is known to be one of the most peaceful states in Nigeria but some very recent events pointed to a serious reason why everybody in the state should come together as one irrespective of culture, race, colour, languages, religion and ethnic background.
1. Clash between Okada Riders and Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps with sporadic shootings where two members of Okada Riders died in Ado – Ekiti.
2. Clashes that trailed change of government within the drivers’ union.
3. Ekiti before, during and after elections.
4. To cap it all, recent clash between the hoodlums “Area boys” and the Hausa community that occurred on the 15 September, 2015 which led to pronouncement by His Excellency, Executive Governor Mr. Peter Ayodele Fayose to re-settle Hausa community from the major market to the outskirt called “Shasha” for peace to reign in the city.
This celebration is an integral part of the Global Strategy to restore peace to the world through the youth.
